Little Wonderers Toddler Group

Perhaps your little one is ready to start exploring the world at large, with you and / or with others his or her size.  Perhaps you are looking for something just your little one's speed, where you can both connect with others like yourselves.  Perhaps you would like to expose your little one to a variety of activities, musings, and inspiration.  And perhaps it could be centrally located - and even beautiful & clean to boot.

Perhaps, just perhaps.  We're a match.

9:00 WELCOME, INNOVATION & CREATION STATIONS

Students enter straight into their classroom, through the designated Little Wonderers door.  We ask that they sanitize their hands, take their shoes off, and hang their coats...encouraging their independence and practicing their routines.  A thought provoking Question of the Day will be up on the welcome board, prompting students to share their voice and choice via various communication styles.

Once inside the classroom, students will find several child-led discovery stations to explore at their own pace, based on their own interests.  We will always have dramatic play, blocks, manipulatives and books available; along with sensory, fine motor, and S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, arts / design and math) activities.

9:30 CLEAN UP / CIRCLE TIME

We will practice responsibility by cleaning up after ourselves, and putting things back where they belong.  We'll gather to sing fun songs, get our whole bodies moving in dance, discover new stories, check in with our Weather Watcher, deepen our Social / Emotional Learning, and make time for mindfulness & stretching.

10:00 GROUP ACTIVITY

Our group activity is theme driven and may look like nature walks, scavenger hunts, and lots of S.T.E.A.M. exploration and discovery.

10:15 GROUP SNACK

It's time for stories, open conversation, sharing, and more Social / Emotional learning gathered around the table.  It's where we feed ourselves and each other.  A simple snack is shared to practice serving ourselves and friends.

10:30 REFLECTIONS AND GOODBYE FRIENDS

We'll reflect on our day, take stock of our feelings, and say goodbye to our friends.  Until next time!
